Factories in Dongguan – which produce popular devices like iPhones and iPads – prefer offering jobs to women because they find men unreliable workers.
As a result, hordes of women have flocked to the city in south China’s Guangdong Province – with the relatively small number of men finding casual work and odd jobs.
Due to the gaping gender imbalance and the boredom of their part-time employment, it’s become the norm for most chaps to date two or three girls at the same time.
One man commented: “It is a lot easier here to find a girlfriend than a job.”

The women who willingly enter into relationships with men aren’t bothered that there are other girlfriends on the scene.
